Here at Bamboo Village, we're very passionate about the environment. When it comes to the issue of plastic we're very aware of how many plastic bottles are used every day and simply thrown away into landfills, which is truly dreadful. When we heard about 'Little Penguin', the Water Filter Bottle from EcoBud, we were intrigued and very impressed.

Completely Australian designed, the Little Penguin says no to bottled water, helping the environment and reducing the plastic heading to our landfills. EcoBud also support the penguin foundation on Philip Island; another reason why we think this company is pretty awesome.

So what is it, and what does it do? Essentially, it is a filter for your water. The top of the water bottle contains a small filter which lasts an entire two months, and it is this that filters your water and makes sure it is at an alkaline level, which means it is safe to drink, and also means you can fill your bottle up wherever you are. It removes bacteria, chlorine and reduces fluoride...and is totally BPA free. It can hold up to 700ml. Simply fill it up at home or wherever you are, and let it get to work.

The bottle can be taken wherever you go; to work, to the gym, or your children can take it to school, while you have peace of mind that the water they'll be drinking will be safe and totally filtered, and the environment is being helped too.
