A set of bamboo pillowcases made from 100% organically grown bamboo fibre. This particular fibre is a twill weave which resists continued shrinking and unsightly pilling, resulting in pillowcases with increased durability without losing any of their gorgeous softness or natural sheen.
Super-soft Made from 100% bamboo fibre, they are softer than any high thread count cotton pillowcases.
Superbly durable they are twill-woven (not sateen) bamboo pillowcases, with softness comes all that built-in strength.
Year-round comfort - Bamboo fibre is thermo-regulating, which means our pillowcases will help keep your bed warmer in winter and cooler in summer.
Well-fitting Even after many washes, or putting them in the drier (which is not recommended for bamboo sheets due to shrinkage), they'll still fit your standard sized pillows.
Kind to sensitive skin These bamboo pillowcases are naturally hypoallergenic, antibacterial, antimicrobial and more absorbent than cotton making them excellent against your skin.
100% bamboo fibre - Oekotex-100 Certified. Machine wash in cold water, line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Approx 180 thread count which is comparable to a high quality 300+ thread count egyptian cotton sheet (tip - be wary of choosing your bed linen based on thread count - it is not a reliable measure of quality as it is unregulated and subject to interpretation).
includes 2 x pillowcases 48cm x 74cm
Bambusa bamboo pillowcases are twill weave, Mulberry Threads Co. bamboo pillowcases are sateen weave.
A twill bamboo weave is a tight weave, resulting in a soft and strong fabric. Bamboo twill pillowcases do not pill. A sateen bamboo weave is a longer weave, resulting in a 'satin' appearance and feel, that isn't slippery.
Both are equally popular when it comes to pillowcases; it comes down to personal preference.
The thread count (TC) of our Bambusa pillowcases is 180TC. The Mulberry Thread Co. pillowcases are 350TC. Tip - be wary of choosing your pillowcases based on thread count! It's not a reliable measure of quality as it's unregulated and subject to interpretation.
